How to play Maze Adventure

Take a moment with Maze Adventure before moving to another game. Move into the exit at the bottom right. The game counts the steps you take. Choose a clear next step rather than rushing through the instructions. Make your first input carefully and watch the result. Use the example below to understand a decision.

Keep the aim in sight

Keep the stated aim separate from side details such as animation or appearance. Progress is measured by the game’s own completion or scoring rules. Use the example to check your reasoning.

Your goal

Move into the exit at the bottom right. The game counts the steps you take. Keep that objective in view throughout the round. The example below illustrates a decision.

Step by step

  1. Start from the upper-left cell.
  2. Move through openings using arrow keys or direction buttons.
  3. You may also tap a neighbouring cell connected by an open passage.
  4. Reach the gold exit or generate a new maze.

Controls

Arrow keys, on-screen direction buttons, or a click/tap on an adjacent reachable cell. On a smaller screen, keep the active part of the board within view. Use one clear input at a time.

A useful example

If a wall blocks the cell to your right, try another opening; the token cannot move through walls. Use the example as a guide rather than a substitute for reading your board. Read the matching step again.

Watch out for this

Only immediately adjacent cells can be reached in one move. Check the rule before repeating the action. Watch the feedback after an action. A message can explain whether the input was accepted or whether a rule needs attention.
